Objective

The International Relations Study Programme is designed to be a centre of excellence for a global
approach with a strategic orientation to achieved national and international competitiveness. To achieve this,
the Study Programme has objective to provide graduates with following characteristics:

A. Attitude
1. Upholding and respecting humanity, equality, universal ethics, and national principles, values, as well
as norms.
2. Having strong self-discipline and social responsibilities.
3. Complying with the rule of law.

B. General Skills
1. Able to apply critical, logical, systematic, and innovative ways of thinking according to academic
expertise.
2. Able to analyse the implications of daily political matters based on academic expertise.
3. Able to independently take the most strategic decision according to the expertise.
4. Able to develop and maintain networking nationally and internationally.

C. Knowledge
1. Having the ability to explain and elaborate basic concepts and theories of international relations
2. Acquiring the skill to explain and elaborate concepts and theories in diplomacy, foreign policy,
international organization, international law, and Southeast Asia studies.
3. Having the skill to explain and elaborate theories and principles in international politics and security,
international political economy, international business organization, as well as globalization and strategies.
4. Having the ability to express opinion and ideas to public, both oral and written, in Indonesian language,
English, or other international languages.
